Antonietta and her family prepare genuine dishes using products from their animals. Cows, goats and pigs are raised by them right in Mera or nearby. The high-altitude pastures are exploited in summer, while in winter the main activity is carried out in the stable.

Cured meats, cheeses and meats can also be purchased, to taste everything and take home the most authentic flavors of Valsesia. Even the vegetable elements are enhanced, such as the fruit used for jams or herbs in the side dishes. To reach the Casera Bianca, in the summer, you have to take the road that crosses the center of the town from the arrival point of the Scopello-Mera chairlift. In about 15 minutes on foot you will reach the Campo ski lift area, and you will find the refreshment point shortly after having passed it. In winter however, it is very easy to reach because it is located directly on the ski slopes, almost on top of the mountain, from where you can observe a wonderful panorama.
The meadows of Mera in summer are a grazing place for the animals of Valsesia.
Among them are cows, goats and sheep. This environment, green, large, rich in nourishment and the very clean air make their milk truly exceptional. The La Casera Bianca agritourism is responsible for transforming it and offering the products on its menu. Antonietta really knows how to enhance the fresh and aged cheeses that her family produces, but also the wild herbs that grow here, seasonal fruit and meat.
