Alpe di Mera

Alpe di Mera is the place to take refuge to experience absolute tranquillity. The absence of traffic and the wonderful nature make it a suitable destination for families who want to bring children closer to the mountain environment by trekking, mountain biking or e-biking.

What to do at Alpe di Mera?

In Mera children can have fun in nature without worries!

Alpe di Mera is an enchanted place. A small car-free village, at an altitude of 1,500 metres, with the most beautiful view of Monte Rosa in all of Valsesia. Here children can run and play safely, and parents or grandparents can accompany them to spend pleasant days thanks to the splendid exposure to the sun and the accessible altitude. Two playgrounds await you: the first playground we want to introduce is called "il Covo". It is located in the Campo area and was built in summer 2020. An area entirely dedicated to the little explorers of Monte Rosa, beautiful, safe and freely accessible even on the snow during the winter season, surrounded by green meadows and rhododendrons in the summer.

The second playground of Mera is called "La tana" and is located in the grove area, one of the most panoramic and loved of our alp! To join the two parks there are a pedestrian and a cycle/pedestrian path, both in a ring. Along the way you will find panels to play and learn with Meraviglio, panoramic and thematic points.

Two cycle paths for a total of 66 km throughout the town, easily accessible thanks to the presence of signs, rental services, assistance and guides in the municipality of Scopello and neighboring towns.

The refreshment points at high altitude, including a characteristic agritourism, will delight the most demanding palates in the presence of an imposing Monte Rosa.
