The review Between Museum and Territory, promoted by Palazzo dei Musei, Società Valsesiana di Cultura and Centro Studi Turcotti of Borgosesia, continues with a last summer meeting in collaboration with the Superintendency of Archaeology, Fine Arts and Landscape for the Provinces of Biella, Novara, Verbano Cusio Ossola and Vercelli.
Saturday 26 August, at 3.30 pm, the appointment is in Scopello, in the hamlet of Ordarino, at the oratory of San Bernardo. Together with Benedetta Brison, an art historian official of the Superintendence, and with the intervention of the restorer Daniela Pezzolato we will discover the result of the construction site which has brought to light a fifteenth-century cycle of frescoes of exceptional interest and high pictorial quality which has remained unknown until today.
The Ordarino hamlet is located along the road that goes up to Alpe di Mera, just outside the town of Scopello.
Participation is free, but reservation required for limited places.
