A path to discover Mera, easy and panoramic!
It’s a ring-one, merged in the pastures of Alpe di Mera, and can be traveled on foot or by bike.
The starting point is the upper station of the Scopello-Mera chairlift. From here you will continue towards Campo area and then climb easily until you meet the Mera-Meggiana cycle path. One of the advantages of this ride or walk is precisely to travel this panoramic stretch. It moves at high altitude over a wide terrain with very little difference in height. Follow the cycle path in the direction of Mera, and after about 1.5 km you will arrive at the Bar al Boschetto area. Finally, with a rapid descent, you will return to the starting point.

During the track you will meet the main points of interest of Alpe di Mera. The small church of the Madonna della Neve, the picnic areas, the historic Bar Piero just restored, the playground and almost all the mountain restaurants, ready to welcome you and prepare for you a traditional and tasty snack or lunch!

You will meet the main points of interest of the Alpe di Mera. The small church of the Madonna della Neve, the picnic areas, the recently restored historic Bar Piero, the playground and almost all the high-altitude refreshment points, ready to welcome you and prepare a traditional and tasty snack or lunch for you!
Parking:
from the Provincial Road 299 at Scopello, the yellow sign invites you to turn left and after passing a bridge, following the signs for the Mera chairlifts, you reach the large parking lot right in front of the ski lifts. From here it is possible to go up to Alpe di Mera with a bike in tow to start the journey, by purchasing a return ticket.
Alpe di Mera can also be reached by car. The Trogo and Mera car parks are subject to charges.

The cycle path begins in front of the chairlift arrival point where the signs guide you towards Alpe Campo. From here begins a gradual climb, part of which has recently been refurbished, up to Pian d'Asnin. At this point, cycle path 2A meets cycle path 2 (Scopello-Mera-Meggiana-Rassa-Scopello). The signs indicate to follow it in the opposite direction and then at the crossroads to turn left in the direction of the town of Mera. This stretch is wide, panoramic and almost flat, until you reach the Boschetto, where a rapid descent takes you back to the starting point.Un itinerario adatto a tutti, anche a chi cammina o pedala in famiglia!
